- The applicator point can depress the detent ball of a grease fitting and create a seal by making contact between the ball housing leaving very little residual behind
- The gun uses vacuum created by pumping the handle to suck the grease up out of the storage tube; dispensing precisely in a narrow stream with no mess: much cleaner than the finger method
