2 & 4 wheel drive 3/4 & 1 ton Dodge, Ford & GM trucks use a heavy duty steering box with a large pitman arm. Accessability to the arm using conventional jaw pullers is restricted by steering linkage, air intake tubes, frame components and other items in many models requiring removal of the steering box to service the arm on a work bench. The forged 11880 Schley puller eliminates the need to remove the steering box on most models.
